Saturday morning after the rain/wet snow event on Friday. Conditions were very good above 1800m. Morning was sunny and there was a lot of pinwheeling. No whumpfing or other signs of instability. Dug a pit on south west aspect at about 2050m. Results came in surprisingly stable.

Surprinsingly stable results (but this was only one test). CT results - Compression style fracture (fell on itself, not planar) at 14 (MED4) at 150 cms (or 30 cms from surface). Noticed a 3 cm think icy layer at 120 cms (or 60 cms down from surface). Did not get results on this later. Again though - only did the one test.
