Weather
Lingering clouds and periods of very light snow in the morning with minimal accumulation. Skies cleared in the afternoon and winds increased out of the southwest, 40-50 mph gusts causing widespread blowing snow. Storm total from the weekend storm; 9" of snow with 0.9" of water content.
Snowpack
Fewer signs of instability today. Stability tests using cornice drops produced shallow, small (D1) dry loose and propagating wind slab avalanche activity (east aspect at treeline). Avalanche size was small, but traveled well into the track.
