Weather

Wind loading was light around 12k ridgelines. It looked a little more significant around the high peaks of the main range.

Snowpack

Dug around north and east-facing slopes near treeline looking for upper-snowpack persistent weak layers. Where there is a buried crust, faceted snow exists either above or below but in general there is not much of a slab. Wind-loading near treeline was forming slabs but they were close to the ridgeline. On a north-facing slope the recent snow is about a foot deep but there is no crust and I got no propagating results in an extended column tests.
