Weather
The wind was lightly drifting snow onto exposed slopes forming more of a wind skin than loading slopes. Cool and breezy near to above treeline. Mostly cloudy with breaks in the clouds and times of sun.
Snowpack
No signs of instability except for cracking on a slope with shallow snow over mostly talus. In general, 8 inches of new snow, slightly more where drifted, sits over harder layers and showed no signs of instability.
