Weather

Partly cloudy in AM, turning overcast and squally in the afternoon.

Snowpack

Highly variable. Found isolated drifts of deep (150+cm) and strong snow, many areas with faceting surface slabs on a very weak base, and trap-door areas with very weak and unsupportive facets with no slab on top.

Avalanche

Several recent avalanches. The dozen large avalanches observed last week were no longer visible. Crowns filled in throughout the day, so best guess is these ran in the last 24 hours.
