Partly cloudy, no precip, no wind. Lost Lake sits at 9,640' and the the slide happened at about 9,640.
Snowpack
Sun-exposed, steep 40 degree open face. Hard crust underneath with 2-6 inches of loose sugar snow on top depending on the spot. Sun exposed-areas seemed to have less snow.
Avalanche
Wet loose avalanche that likely happened this afternoon or yesterday afternoon. Trigger point was above some rocks in a patch of trees. Appeared to be skier triggered judging by the tracks. NE facing slope. 9,800'. Below tree-line.
