Weather

Light snow in the morning gave way to clearing skies and warming afternoon temperatures. 2" of new snow with 0.1" of water content measured this morning. Little additional accumulation during the day. Winds were light out of the southwest.

Snowpack

No signs of instability on any aspects near and below treeline during today's tour. Periods of sun and warm temperatures immediately cooked the new snow.

Avalanche

Observed natural activity was limited to several small loose snow avalanches off very steep northeast aspects at treeline.
