Initially clear and calm down low at 0800, winds increaded steadilty on the ascent peaking at 40-50mph at 12700' at 1200. Cloud cover slightly increased but remained minimal (<50?)
Snowpack
Cold snow with slight wind effects felt above 12300'. Conducted CT & ECT tests at about 11800' (39.6660, -105.7942). CT15 @ 26cm in newer/wind-drifted snow, test depth 160cm; ECTX in the same pit. Felt and saw no signs of instability during the course of our tour, which concluded safely without incident at 1300 back at the base of the line at Stevens Gulch.
