Weather

Generally overcast, snowy and blowy, with a couple of brief sun breaks. Snowfall intensity ranged from S-1 to S1. Ridge top winds were strong out of the west. Recent winds have kept fetches pretty scoured, but the snow that was available was being very efficiently transported, with moderate to intense wind loading observed on east aspects.

Snowpack

I saw no obvious signs of instability in my travels today, nor did I see any recent natural avalanche activity. With some effort I could get small, corniced features to break in the recently depostied snow. However, there was no addional failure on the slope below.
