Cold with moderate winds from the south west. Overcast skies with light snowfall through out the day.
Snowpack
Measured 50cm of new snow on northerlies since 12/27. near treeline. Currently height of snow on northerlies averages 120cm near treeline and 85cm on southerlies. Had one small collapse on a northwest aspect in a thin area where winds have stripped away the snow. Interestingly, I was able to find persistent slab on southwest aspects near treeline although unsure of its spatial distribution. Isolated pockets on winds slab where present. Storm slab was not reactive on test slopes.
