Snowpack

All aspects except Northernly aspects were baked on Friday and there is little evidence of storm snow. 2 inch sun crust on these aspects. Northern aspects are still holding soft snow. No signs of collapsing or instability on the skin track.

Avalanche

Mace Peak Ridge, Southern Aspect, 11.5k ft. Soft Slab Avalanche, Natural, R2 D2.5, Released at new/old snow interface. 3-10 inch crown on a surface of melt freeze layer.
