Snowpack

Snowpack structure consistent with 30cm pencil hard layer over moist poly crystals to the ground. The latest round of storm snow settled to 15cm of wet snow and bonded well to the old snow surface. However, many small point releases were observed on east slopes pointing to poor bonding with the old snow snow surface during periods of high precipitation rates in the storm. Cloud and a light breeze was keeping the snow surface cool. I wasn't able to coax anything to move on steep rolls with my skis.
