Weather

Cloud cover increased throughout the trip with spotty, isolated snow showers with no accumulation. Temperatures kept near and above treeline snow surfaces generally dry through 1:00pm when we left,, below treeline snow surfaces became wet early afternoon. Winds were not strong enough for noticeable blowing snow on ridgeline except for an occasional gust

Snowpack

West Roaring Fork is filled in since reaching SH82 in early February. Snow depth in the start zones is likely shallower than last season when no activity was observed from this area. The snowpack in a representative location is still producing propagating results on 3/18 and the DH interface. East Roaring Fork has little volume except in Waterhole #1 area which also reached the road in early February. On this aspect moderate, sudden results were observed at the 3/18 FC/CR and in the middle of the depth hoar.
