Weather

AM was broken cloud cover with periodic snow S1 to S2. PM was overcast with S-1 snow. Total new snow accumulation about 5cm. Mild temps just below freezing. Calm G Light SW wind with no active transport.

Snowpack

In the NTL on a SW aspect, the snowpack was about 100cm. Multiple crust layers throughout. Moist basal facet layer from 0 to 40cm. Snowpack otherwise still dry. No notable test results. ATL on a East aspect had snow pit test failures below the storm snow and thin melt freeze crust. Stubborn ECTN24 down 30cm on 1mm buried near surface facets. Limited cracking in wind drifted storm snow.

Avalanche

Numerous, small, dry point releases on North aspects on steep slopes from BTL - NTL - ATL. In the ATL, these had stiffened to small wind slabs, very soft and low energy.
