Beautiful bluebird day with a light breeze.

Snowpack

Traveled on north and east slopes to 10800'.Snow on the valley floor was wet at 2pm. HS to around 10 000' was 60cms and many south slopes are burning out to bare ground. East slopes had an already re-freezing 2cm crust by 2pm with dry snow below. North slopes remained dry with yesterdays surface snow already faceting in the top 0.5cm. Between 10-11000' HS averaged 1m. Weak structure remains. ECTX No avalanches were noted on south, east and west slopes from Star, Madden or Deadwood Peaks visible from the east ridge of Parrot.
