Weather
Moderate blowing snow at ridge line near treeline from west winds. Alpine obscured.
Snowpack
Found wind slabs 20-50cm thick on NE slopes near ridge line at treeline. Multiple hasty hand shears gave very easy / easy, sudden planer results with the new wind slab.
Avalanche
Observed 2 natural D2 slides. 1) East facing just below a corniced ridge. Crown was approximately 1ft thick, 80ft wide and ran approximately 300ft. Did not step down. Likely ran morning of 3/25 2) Northeast facing, crown was observed by clouds/blowing snow and terrain but debris pile was 60ft wide and 200ft top to bottom. Likely ran overnight 3/24-3/25. The picture is on a NE slope just below ridge line and was triggered with a ski track just uphill of the photo.
