Snowpack

On a north aspect near treeline, we found a snowpack that was 120cm deep. We found two weak interfaces in our snowpit, both with propagating ECT results. The first is about 20cm below the surface, where a pencil hard slab sits on top of decomposing fragments and facets. The second is around a melt-freeze crust about 20cm above the ground.
