Strong, steady wind overnight with gusts over 50 mph in open areas. Wind let up briefly before sunrise with the only snowfall of the night, 1½" and water content of 0.11" Currently overcast with moderate steady wind but regular strong gusts to near 30 mph and only very light snowfall. The Gothic area rarely gets heavy snow with strong wind and this is another case of that. --Snowpack at 44½". Only 3 winters in the past 51 have had less snowfall through March than this winter, 1976-77, 2017-18, and 2020-21. billy, blowing in the wind.
