Avalanche

A CAIC forecaster found a recent avalanche on a north-facing below-treeline slope with ski tracks going into the avalanche. He conducted a transceiver search and found no signal. This slope avalanched previously during the Thanksgiving storm. This avalanche was not here at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 4 and there appears to be around 2 or 3 inches of new snow on top of the crown and the debris.
