Snowpack
Snow surfaces are 10 to 15 centimeters of loose facets with only minor sluffing on the steepest slopes. The wildfire scars allow winds to rip through these areas building slabs in unusual areas, all of which are unreactive. The mid-snowpack slab is supportable to snowmobile and skis but ski penetration is to the ground. The near treeline snow depth is 60-75 centimeters.
