Weather

Blue skies and warm temperatuures.

Snowpack

Near treeline on east-facing slopes the snowpack is about 90 to 120 centimeters deep. Slope-scale shooting cracks and collapsing can be found on most of these types of slopes. A 30-40 centimeter Fist hard slab is failing on well-developed depth hoar that makes up the rest of the snowpack. Extended Column Tests produce moderate propagating results, ECTP 12-13 at the slab/depth hoar interface.

Avalanche

Multiple small shallow Wind Slab avalanches on east-facing above treeline slopes
