I'm a bit late posting this, but here it is anyways. 3 skiers caught in small avalanche on NE aspect of Mt Fernie. No burials or injuries, though a couple went for a ride. Triggered on convex slope above by another member in party. A fair bit of new snow and warming temperatures plus bad positioning of skiers waiting were contributing factors.
