Obs in wind loaded feature near ridge crest. 15-20cm 1F wind slap over 50cm Fist snow sitting on old surface (dn 65cm). CTE(SP) 8,7 dn 20cm on PP and DF. CTM(RP) 18, 17 dn 40cm on DF. We decided to turn around and ski back through glades. Evidence of Cornice failure and old +24hr Na, Nc triggered avalanches size 1-2 on steep NE slopes off Jimmy Jr.
