Moderate to strong S-SW winds transporting significant snow above treeline. Some windslabs forming on N-E facing features. The main avalanche problem came from the cornices and slabs developing to the south and above of the chute, I'd be thinking about this if I were out ice climbing or skiing. Some of them looked substantial. We did not hang out in the chute to see what the accumulating snow would do. Impressive work by Adam and friends in not taking their skis off for all of the rocky lower descent. Lower half of the path has just enough faceted snow to cover some nasty rocks that avalanche debris covers later in the season. Best skiing was on the Highline trail, it's fast and fun all the way to the car, but I'll wait a while before skiing this again.
