Breezy with snow moving above treeline. snow surface above 10600'-ish remained cool.

Snowpack

Travelled up to look at yesterdays ASu avalanche. It was triggered in steep and rocky terrain. Very small wind slab triggered larger Loose Dry avalanche that ran 1000' to terminus below a small cliff band. Lower debris pile 50 to 100cm deep. Snow pit on sheltered westerly near treeline slope (11100): HS 80cm, facets top to bottom. CT3 6cm down on larger near surface facets. Boot pen 20cm
