Snowpack
I dug on a northeast aspect near treeline and found the snow depth was just under a meter. The snowpack consisted of about 10cm of wind affected new snow on top of an unreactive slab. This sits on top of about 25cm of faceted grains and depth hoar. ECTX, and no signs of instability were observed during my travels.
Avalanche
No recent avalanche activity was observed, however I could still see a couple of previously reported old avalanches near treeline on northeast to east aspects.
