Snowpack

ATL snowpack was stripped or marked by 1’-2’ wind slabs. Wind loading present on roll over into mines 1/2.

Avalanche

It looks like Mines 1 (northerly aspect) released in the trees based on the debris coming out of the exit. Blocks covered by last storm cycle so event may have occurred during or prior to storm loading. Debris blocks was 1-2’ in size at most and debris toe came down to the next bend/hop in the gully. Marker on photo indicates the base of the slide path before it entered the gully. Crown is somewhat visible in picture so it looks to have released approximately 100 feet above the gully. Not clear if anything released higher up to cause the crown below.
