Weather
Mostly clear skies with strong SW winds. Moderate wind transport at Pass level and periods of intense wind transport at treeline. Temperatures were in the 20s, but felt cold with the wind.
Snowpack
Found fresh soft slabs (D1) in a wind loaded NE aspect at treeline. Propagation was minimal and depth was about 8". No signs of instability in steep N aspects below treeline. Recent winds continue to build large cornices. Some of these are not in typical locations- exposed mid-slope near treeline for example
Avalanche
No fresh avalanche activity observed along the highway corridor.
