Heavy snow, obscured skies and white-out conditions on Coal Bank Pass, (~2" per hour snowfall rate) gradually abated traveling north towards Silverton. On Molas Pass, the snowfall rate was around 1/2"/hour. Winds were light out of the southwest.
Avalanche
Some minor sluffing in the new snow from steep banks and cliffs. Otherwise, no new activity observed.
