Snowpack
Goal was test a low consequence slope near treeline on north facing slope near the top of Red Mountain Pass. Slope broke at the new and old snow interface on a ski cut. We avoid steep slopes.
Avalanche
Small avalanche triggered on test slope on ski cut. Snow broke just above cut.
