Snowpack

HS 80-110cm, Ski pen is 20cm, Boot pen full. There is a supportive (1F) mid pack slab above the weak early season facets. A super quick pit in a sheltered area at treeline above Tagert and GW (NW 11,450') gave ECTP 15 70cm down on top of 40cm of facets. Avalanches on this layer will be very large especially with the coming storm.

Saw a variety of natural slides see photos. Also had a report of a large natural on the E face of Castle similar to the one above Cathedral lake.
