Weather

Blue skies. Modest high level cloud moving in through out the day in approach of this upcoming cycle.

Snowpack

Zero signs of instabilities along our whole travel route today. Rode snow machines on just about every aspect you could imagine, and the variability of snow surfaces was just as many. Snow was as you would expect. Sunny aspects were doing sunny things and northerly slope were doing north things. Creeks are becoming exposed and the buried willows in the meadows are starting to effect meadow bashing. (70cm deep in meadows at appx. 10500ft)

Avalanche

Got to the top. Chose the option we wanted and decided to ski cut the ridge down to a safe spot to see if anything moved. When rider one performed the ski cut the slope popped below and in front of him as he regained the ridge to safety.
