Avalanche

A snowmobiler triggered a large Wind Slab avalanche on Sunday afternoon south of Fremont Pass in an avalanche path locally known as Question Mark Bowl. The rider was cresting the ridge when the avalanche broke just below him. Nobody was caught. This slope is an east-facing near treeline slope. Two skiers descended the same slope earlier in the day. The avalanche took out their ski tracks.
