Weather

Broken skies, temperatures in the upper 20s, and moderate southwest winds with stronger gusts. There was a fair bit of ridge top wind transport.

Snowpack

Looking around on a north facing aspect I found a cold snowpack with no evidence of warming yet. Aside from a couple of inches of wind packed snow at the top of the snowpack, the most recent, incremental snow load has yet to form a slab. This recent snowfall sits over a layer of facets/rounding facets about 20-25cm below the surface. I saw no indications of instability in my travels, and had ECTX results in my snowpit. East aspects below treeline that had any sun exposure today were moist on the surface, as well as south/southeast near treeline.
