Overcast all day and snowing in the southern San Juan’s.
Snowpack
It broke at ground level and propagated out about 100 feet and only slid 20 feet.I ski cut it from above because I made the mistake of heading down into the drainage instead of contouring across! It was super easy to kick off came to a stop at the top of the roll even with the trees. Cut across above the rolls with a ski slashed and it broke below me at ground level. Looked like a 2 foot crown.
