Shames 4th Knowl

40cm of fresh light snow over top of an 8cm rain crust from earlier in the week. HS of 126cm. Rain did not seem to percolate very far beyond the the crust. Winds were strong in the alpine moving snow and creating a slab. Visibility was good and didn't see any fresh debris. We had two hard compression results failing on the rain crust and one hard deep tap result just 18cm from the ground in the old October snow.
