Weather

A classic spring day in the San Juan Mountains – abundant sunshine, temperatures in the low to mid 30’s above 11,000 feet, and light winds.

Avalanche

Saw several loose dry sluffs from warm temperatures and morning sunshine. Most were generally small and harmless but a few did run long distances. Small, isolated wind-slabs were observed above treeline that did not produce wide propagation or travel far downslope.
