Snowfall intensity gradually increased throughout the morning to S1 by noon. Skies were obscured with low cloud and snow. Winds swirled a bit but were generally light from the West

2"HN seemed well stuck onto the underlying melt-freeze from the weekend. That crust was supportable to skis and slightly punchy to boots and about 15cm thick. The storm snow from last week was also glued onto the old MFcr lower in the snowpack and the dust layer from late April still is moist and weak although less so than in previous obs.
