Avalanche
There was a skier triggered avalanche on the north aspect of Bald Mountain off the west ridge. The last member of the group triggered the avalanche on a steep slope near a thin spot around rocks. The slope was cold and dry and the avalanche did not break to the ground. This was a Persistent Slab Avalanche that likely broke on a layer of buried near surface facets in the upper portion of the snowpack.
