Weather

Showery light to moderate snow with some bursts of sun in between. Light winds.

Snowpack

20-30cm of total new snow over the last couple of days. All instabilities noted today were on facets 5-10cm below the new/old snow interface. Easy to medium propagating pit results on both NE and SE aspects NTL, see pit profiles for details. Traveling through NE facing NTL terrain observed only minor cracking that would not propagate more than a couple feet. The new snow was right side up, and hardly wind affected NTL.
