Snowpack
Average HS in paths along the corridor is 25cm. The snowpack consists of recent storm snow (~15 cm) sitting on a 2-4 cm crust sitting on large basal facets (~10 cm). While not a problem now, it is a very weak setup for significant snowfall in the future. The snowpack on shady slopes will only get weaker under current wx regime. The return to predominately sunny skies is beginning to melt snow on sunny slopes. Snow cover remains thin there...
