Weather
20 degrees and sunny. 15 mph winds steady at top of peak, up to 30mph gusts
Snowpack
Weak snowpack where rocks are prominent. Otherwise new storm snow slides were common from 35 to 45 degrees.
Avalanche
2 slides were triggered by cornice cuts at the top, 1 slide was skier triggered but no body was caught in it. 1 cornice cut slide was about 9 foot crown and broke all the way to base snow in very rocky area, slide path was about 1700 feet if I were to guess. More than likely broke at the faceted snow level.
