Snowpack

Snowpit on the northeast near treeline was heavily wind-affected. HS 185cm. ECTP6 and 16 40cm from the surface at the interface between the last storm (with dust) event and the old wind slab. On the southeast about 6 inches of heavy snow sits above a crust-facet combo layer. CT6 and ECTP16 test failures on the facets under the crust about 20cm from the surface. HS 135cm. Below treeline northerlies, we were unable to coax even a small loose dry from steeper slopes.
