Avalanche

Recent natural avalanche activity in the South Mineral drainage. One large natural avalanche off a shoulder of Bear Mountain. Likely occured sometime on the 27th during the storm and failed due top rapid loading overburdening weak persistent layers. Two shallow naturals on east facing slopes in extreme terrain off Peak 12579.
