Shames Obs - Monday Dec 5th. Winds strong out of north east transporting a lot of snow. Sunshine and broken clouds. Cold enough up high for many layers even while breaking trail. Small windslabs forming along the ridge. Surface hoar forming in sheltered locations. Hidden Lake not yet frozen solid as viewed from ridge. Cherry Bowl ran wall to wall during the last storm with visible crowns all the way along the far skiers right ridge well below treeline. Many large blocks of snow all through the bowl. Skied well though with 20-30cm blower on the bed surface just had to watch for frozen debris chunks. Hourglass was deep powder top to bottom. Only skied areas not affected by the wind.
