Excellent skiing from 1300m to 800m on west aspect run. Snow heavily wind affected 1200m and up. Surface hoar on the surface 1200m and down in open meadows now covered in recent storm snow. Perhaps to be called the 20201223 surface hoar. Snowpack at 1200m, 200cm with 100cm sitting on the 20201208 rain crust. Fog rolled in making for an extended lunch at the top but soon moved off for a sunny descent. Skiing/skinning was sporty, character building and a full body effort through the forest and resorted to the very rare bootpack downclimb. Still a few open waterbars on the approach road but nothing you can't ski through. Winds calm, temps -5, sky clear, ski pen 20cm. No recent avalanche activity and no whumps or shooting cracks in the skin track.
