Fog receded down valley at noon. No blowing snow observed. Cool temps.

Avalanche

Numerous large avalanches observed from the last 24 hours. All failed in old snow. Those on shadier terrain appeared to scrub below the Thanksgiving crust, revealing ground textures or rocks in the bed surface. Those running on sunny slopes appeared to break above the Thanksgiving crust leaving a smooth white bed surface.
