Snowpack

Overall the snowpack is shallow and only about 12 to 16 inches in the deepest, previously wind-drifted areas. North and northeast slopes near treeline, that are holding about a foot of snow, have mostly faceted. There isn't a distinct weakest layer, just the snowpack in general is weak and faceted. Above treeline slopes that face west to north through southeast are holding snow but I didn't travel through these areas to obtain information.
