Eastern aspect of Temptation Bowl, Breck Ski Patrol intentionally triggered a large slide to mitigate the risk of a natural avalanche that could potentially run in bounds. I wasn't there to witness the control work, but I heard quite a few large explosives this morning. Very interesting to see quite a few steps down to different layers where the avalanche widened at the convexity of the slope & various rock outcroppings.
