Weather

Cool and cloudy day, with low clouds east of the pass. Calm winds at obx site with no precipitation at time of obx.

Snowpack

Generally weak, the snowpack is faceting from the top down as well as the bottom up in this rocky terrain. Little to no slab was present where I traveled. 2-4mm surface hoar was observed on the snow surface. See snow pit profile for more detail.
